The Feeling Code

Often when uncomfortable feelings arise we immediately jump into our heads asking ourselves why we are having these feelings? This taps into the Frontal Cortex or reasoning mind, addressing what we are already aware or conscious of, and ignores the innate wisdom of the body. The body speaks the unconscious, it is the translator between the infinite possibility and what we think is possible.

Feelings get pushed down early in life because of misinterpretation.  Traumatic or upsetting events are often suppressed in the hope that they will disappear but instead they get stored in the body.  Often this can be in the Sacral Chakra which governs the energy of our relationships to others and the emotions become stored in our womb space where they will remain until we deal with them, either through choice or life forcing us to shine a light on them. Shame, Fear and Guilt are most commonly stored in this chakra and if left unprocessed can manifest into physical issues such as urinary problems, gynaecological problem’s, ovarian cysts, fibroids, painful periods and infertility issues. Mentally we are also affected by these stored emotions, making us instable in regulating our emotions, easily reactive or triggered, attracting drama and unhealthy relationships. Patterns reveal themselves through relationships, finances and health conditions. These events have been designed by the universe to act as a compass or guide to what you need to heal in your life. 

Instead of jumping into your head and asking why I am having these feelings, ask where I am having these feelings.  Where in the body is this coming from?  Where can I build the circuits to better respond to this situation.  Hug the energy in the area the mind went to.  Squeeze the muscles around the area and breathe up and down into that area through the block so that the energy feels comfortable to move through that area and we can begin filling in the gaps removing distortions. Move from emotional states to feeling states. 

When we are not using emotional body the way it should be as a feeling body to alert us to blocks, we start to withdraw and we shut down the system.  The feelings then come out as emotional reactions leading to emotional breakdowns.  Feelings are the most potent thing we can use to open the flow of energy.  Feelings and emotions are on the same band width. The areas of discomfort are the language of the soul speaking to us.

We need to ask where can I let the energy in my body flow more freely so that I can be more comfortable in the situations I want to be in? How can I become a part of something rather than being apart from it? As we repair our wounds, our intuition sharpens, and we align with the inner wisdom of our soul.
